Chicago is a huge city, especially when you take into account all of its surrounding neighborhoods and suburbs, not to mention the surrounding towns that pack almost as much rich history as The Windy City.

We are the third largest city in the nation, so it's no surprise that there are hundreds of attractions, events, museums, parades, festivals, and other important resources for natives and tourists alike. It's impossible even for the most seasoned Chicagoan to know of every great dive, discount bookstore, and food pantry in the city, so I'm going to be working, one post at a time, to bring you as complete a guide as I can. This blog will suit the needs of everyone, from the lowest income household to the highest. There truly is something for everyone!
